The Enable Secondary Source Position setting lets an asset with a MiX 4000 and a paired VisionAI camera store the camera's position as a backup.
This setting is disabled by default.
On-Road IoT only stores and shows secondary positions for assets where this setting is enabled.
Enable this setting only for assets that have a MiX 4000 and a VisionAI camera paired to the same asset. Without a paired VisionAI camera, no secondary position is available.
- In On-Road IoT, click Manage.
- Under Config Admin, click Templates.
- Click the Mobile device templates tab.
- Search for the MiX 4000 template linked to the asset.
- Click the template name to open it.
- Click the Mobile device type to open the properties.
- Find the Enable Secondary Source Position checkbox below the AVL settings.
- Select the Enable Secondary Source Position checkbox.
- Click Save.
TIP: To find the template linked to an asset, read Find the configuration template linked to an asset.
Please note that the setting applies to every asset that uses the template. To stop storing secondary positions, clear the checkbox and click Save.
