If you want to make changes to a group of assets by using the templates, find the connected mobile device template, event template or location templates in the configuration group.
You can view the configuration group to which your asset belongs on the asset list screen.
- Click Monitor.
- Under Fleet admin, click Assets.
- Search for your asset using the search bar at the top.
- Make sure the Configuration group column has been added to the asset list screen by clicking the column chooser button.
- Scroll to the Configuration group heading and click the name of the group:
- You will now be on the configuration groups page.
- Here you will see the event template, location template and mobile device template linked to your asset.
- Clicking the template name will take you to the template to view and edit any of the settings.
When clicking on the asset description as shown on the screen above, you will make config changes on the asset level. Asset-level configuration changes will display with a black flag to show that the asset differs from the group configuration.
