On-Road IoT
- The extended device configuration now supports higher storage limits for events, mobile device scripts, and locations. This shared configuration storage space also covers mobile device templates. This enhancement does not apply to FM devices.
Data Ingestion
- NovaTrack TSP is now supported via API integration using the connector interface, synchronizing asset data such as Registration, Fleet number, Odometer, Last Position, Last Trip, and more.
- Ruptela Plug5 and HCV5 devices now support active fault codes (DTC) reporting. Fault codes are displayed in the relevant fault code columns in On-Road IoT.
- Netstar TSP API integration is available in the enterprise data centre (ENT) via the connector interface, synchronising Asset data such as Registration, Fleet number, Odometer, Last Position, and Last Trip in On Road IoT.
VisionAI
A feature to enable the blurring of license plates and faces has been added to the video settings. When enabled, it automatically blurs all vehicle license plates and facial images in incoming videos for the organisation, helping protect privacy and comply with data protection standards.
Driver face blurring now uses a faster face detection model (batch-face) for driver-facing videos.
The Camera Direction setting in the Add Camera modal is now fully integrated with the face and number plate blurring process, ensuring the correct detection model is automatically applied based on each camera’s direction to improve accuracy and processing efficiency. Read Add custom camera name for VisionAI devices to learn how to apply the correct camera direction.
A new event has been added, called MiX Vision: Face to Driver ID mismatch was added to the event library. This will trigger to indicate mismatches between the detected facial recognition identities and the physical driver identification, like blue plugs, Dallas tags, etc.
Users can enable facial recognition for driver identification in the VisionAI 360 settings.
EasyELD mobile app
- When the Yard Moves speed limit is enabled for US fleets, a driver notification alerts users in the mobile app when they exceed the Yard Move speed limit and are switched back to regular driving. To dismiss the notification, drivers must stop the vehicle to limit distracted driving.
EasyCheck - vehicle inspections mobile app
- Drivers can now send an inspection record from the EasyCheck app to a specified recipient’s email address. WRITE ARTICLE
- A new setting allows you to require drivers to enter a supervisor's name when reporting a critical issue. This setting is optional and turned off by default. WRITE ARTICLE
- The EasyCheck dashboard will show when an asset has unresolved issues and how many there are. New settings in On-Road IoT will enable drivers to view all unresolved issues for an asset in the EasyCheck app, including comments left by other drivers or the workshop. If enabled, drivers can also mark issues as resolved, to allow the asset to be used without interruptions.
When a driver removes an asset with an assigned post-trip inspection task from the EasyCheck dashboard, a pop-up will notify them to complete the post-trip inspection checklist. They can continue with the checklist or remove the asset from the dashboard without completing the post-trip inspection.
The EasyCheck app displays time in the same 12-hour or 24-hour format as the user’s mobile device.
