On-Road IoT
Health Check (BETA)
AI Assistant (BETA)
A new AI assistant, Aura, has been introduced as a BETA feature in On-Road IoT for internal staff users only.
Live tracking
- The optional "additional asset details" fields can now also be enabled to show in Live tracking. Choose to display up to five additional asset details for enhanced search, filtering, and visibility.
- It is now possible to share the live location of an asset with an external party. Choose an asset in Live tracking and select Live share from the three-dot menu. When creating a new Live Share link, you can set an expiration date and choose whether to include additional asset or driver details. The recipient does not need to authenticate and can open the link from any device.
Data Ingestion
- We’ve enhanced our integration with commonly used Ruptela devices by adding Level 2+ support using direct integration (instead of through Flespi). This improvement is part of our ongoing initiative to deliver deeper, more seamless integrations with third-party hardware. This applies to the Ruptela Trace5, Eco5, Plug5, and HCV5 devices. This enables live tracking, historical tracking, driver assignment, speed, odo, engine hours, fuel level, fuel consumption, PTO, and revving, idling, braking, cornering, acceleration events.
- Level 3 support will now be available for the CR100 Cellocator device. This builds on top of the existing level 2 integration and enables processing of type 11 CAN signals that include fuel consumption and DTC message handling. We’ve also added support for setting relative odometer values via device command, providing richer insights and improved device control.
Historical tracking
- You can now view historical location data for assets that only provide basic AVL information in Historical tracking. This feature lets you review an asset’s movement and positions over time, even when trip data is not available. Click "Show trail on map" next to the asset to view its positions. Note that assets with no trips and no positions will not show this option.
Asset List report
- The VIN has been added to the Asset List report as an optional column.
Config groups page (BETA)
- Various usability improvements have been made to the Beta Config Groups page, including performance enhancements, alert filtering, group selection and panel sizing preferences that are remembered when set.
Teltonika - Fuel Consumption & Fuel Level (BETA)
We have added support for retrieving fuel consumption and fuel level data directly from Teltonika devices.
Unlike the previous implementation—which calculated fuel use on the server side—this enhanced version reads values directly from the vehicle’s onboard computer, providing more accurate and reliable data.
This is being released as a Beta version and we want to encourage users to try it out in the testing phase and provide feedback while we continue validating performance across a wider range of vehicles and environments.
This feature requires configuration within the Teltonika configurator tool. Read the step-by-step instructions to help you set it up correctly.
