The VisionAI device is listed in the peripheral library as a standalone peripheral. A standalone peripheral type is new and indicates that there is no direct communication between the camera unit and the on-board computer (OBC).
- Click Manage.
- Under Config admin, click Library.
- Click on the Peripheral library tab on the left.
- Search for the relevant VisionAI device that you will be using, e.g. Streamax C6D AI; AD Plus camera, etc. Read the difference between the 3 VisionAI peripherals for more information.
- Click the downwards action arrow next to the device.
- Select Make available.
Note: The MiX 4000, MiX 6000, MiX 6000LTE and FM devices are supported as well as all OEM connect assets.
After making it available, the MiX Vision AI device can be connected to the mobile device template on the SP line, which is the connection for the new standalone peripheral type.
