Setting up the VisionAI multiple camera solution

The multi-camera solution (Streamax camera in the peripheral library), which has 5 cameras can be connected as a peripheral or as a standalone OBC device in On-Road IoT. 

When used as a peripheral it is installed and set up as a connection to an existing onboard computer like the MiX 4000 or MiX 6000.

Installing the multi-camera solution as a peripheral:

1. Make the mobile device, e.g. MiX 4000, MiX 6000 available in the mobile device library and commission as you normally would the onboard computer.
2. Make the VisionAI camera peripheral available in the peripheral library.
3. Connect the VisionAI peripheral to the mobile device SP line using the mobile device template.
4. Create a configuration group.
5. Enable Vision AI events or record OBC events and add them to an Event template. 
6. Remember to choose this configuration group when creating your asset or editing your asset. 
7. Enter the VisionAI serial number on the mobile device settings page when commissioning the asset. 
8. Compile and upload config.

Installing the multi-camera solution as an onboard computer (standalone solution):

You can use the VisionAI device as an onboard computer, meaning the device will be able to read position and trip data as well as create and record events such as harsh braking, harsh cornering, over speeding, etc. 

1. Make the Streamax Standalone mobile device available in the mobile device library. 
2. Make the Streamax camera peripheral device available in the peripheral library.
3. Connect the peripheral to the SP line on the Streamax Standalone mobile device using the relevant mobile device template. (Default mobile device template for Streamax Standalone)
4. A new default configuration group for VisionAI standalone assets will now be made available. When creating new assets or editing existing assets make sure that the assets that are commissioned with the Streamax Standalone device are in the correct configuration group.
5. Make sure the mobile device template and event template for Streamax standalone is used in this configuration group (Default mobile device template for Streamax Standalone and Default event template for Streamax Standalone).

Please note that for the fixed integration, all 5 videos will always be requested for the multiple camera solution events. They will all be displayed and can be played in the video player feature.
