Firmware 5.16.16 is an urgent hotfix release for the MiX 4000 device. It resolves an issue in firmware versions 5.8.x and later, where some devices may become unresponsive during power-down and require a physical reset to recover.

Compatibility Notice – ELD Customers
Important for ELD customers
- Firmware version 5.16.16 is not ELD‑compatible.
- Firmware uploads of 5.16.16 will be blocked for devices identified as ELD‑enabled.
- ELD customers must remain on firmware version 5.10.23, which includes the latest compliant features and necessary fixes for ELD operation.
A 5.10.x firmware release that includes this fix will be made available soon for the U.S. region.
Important Downgrade Limitation
Once a device is upgraded to firmware version 5.16.16, it cannot be downgraded to any version earlier than 5.10.14.
