Synchronize vehicle and driver entities from Cartrack – Powerfleet Knowledge

Permission: You will need the "IoT data connector management" permission to access this feature.

In On-Road IoT, click Monitor.
Under Fleet Admin, click IoT data connector.
On the Cartrack block, click Enable if this is the first time you are using this connector.

Once you enable the connector, you can synchronize vehicle and driver entities that exist within the Cartrack account by providing your Cartrack credentials.

After initial sync, new assets or drivers that have been created or deleted will automatically sync periodically, once per day.

Enter your API Username, API password and the Base URL you connect to.
Click Save.

If successful, the information will be synced to Unity On-Road IoT to automatically create assets and drivers with matching details.

The Cartrack device will be automatically commissioned into the Cartrack default configuration group.

Note: all syncing is one-way and data only updates from Cartrack to Unity, not vice-versa.

You will get a confirmation email after saving your Cartrack credentials and the syncing of assets, devices and drives is complete, notifying you that all synced data is now available in your organization. The numbers of synced assets and drivers will be displayed in the email. To update asset and driver details in bulk, use the respective import template.
