- Unity On-Road IoT now supports Ford vehicles via the Motorq data feed. Fleet operators can access real-time Level 2 telematics and electric fleet data, and onboard and track Ford ICE and EV assets directly within Unity On-Road IoT.
VisionAI
- Assets with a MiX 4000 mobile device and a connected VisionAI peripheral can now identify drivers via facial recognition. Driver identity is visible during active trips for organizations with the Facial Driver ID feature enabled.
Powerfleet manager - mobile app
The Powerfleet Manager mobile app is now available for Android and iOS, replacing the MiX Fleet Manager app for On-Road users. The MiX Fleet Manager app is no longer supported, meaning no updates or fixes will be released for it.
- Powerfleet Manager now supports both On-Road and Unity Connect (Pointer Connect) users.
- Most features from the MiX Fleet Manager app have been migrated to Powerfleet Manager. Additional features and improvements will be added in future releases.
- Live tracking is now available on mobile, allowing users to view real-time vehicle locations on an interactive map.
- Alerts and notifications can now be received as push notifications, keeping managers informed of driver events and exceptions as they happen.
- Trip history is now accessible on mobile, allowing users to review past trips and activity for any asset.
