Set up notifications to be sent to selected recipients when:
- Set up notifications for failed inspections
- Set up notifications for resolved issues
- Set up notifications to list all outstanding issues
- Set up notifications for fault codes on assets These notifications can be configured based on the fault's status and severity
Permission : You will need the Maintenance Notifications permission.
- In On-Road IoT, click Monitor.
- Under Maintenance, click Maintenance notifications.
- View all the notifications set up for maintenance issues.
Set up notifications for failed inspections
- Add new notifications by clicking the create icon.
- Add a description, e.g. Alert: failed critical check on Palm delivery vehicles
- Click the button next to Inspections.
- Choose for which severity the notification must be sent by checking the box under:
- Critical check failed - will generate a notification when a critical step fails during an inspection.
- Minor check failed - will generate a notification when a minor step fails during an inspection.
- You can select both.

Click Select assets to choose assets in the organization. Remember notifications are only visible to users with organization-level access. You need to select at least one asset to create a notification.

Assets are grouped by site and all assets of a site can be selected by clicking on the top level text. The asset counter will update based on the number of assets selected.
- Click Select recipients. Note that the email address must be entered in the Contact information.
- Click Save.
Set up notifications for resolved issues
- Add new notifications by clicking the create icon.
- Add a description, e.g. Alert: outstanding maintenance issue resolved.
- Click the button next to Inspections.
- Check the box next to **Critical issue resolved.
- Click Select assets to choose assets in the organization. See screens above.
- Click Select recipients. Note that the email address and or the mobile number field must be entered in the Contact information.
- Click Save.
Set up notifications to list all outstanding issues
- Add new notifications by clicking the create icon.
- Add a description, e.g. Daily notification of outstanding maintenance issues
- Click the button next to Inspections.
- Check the box next to Message listing all outstanding issues
- Select if the notification must be sent daily, weekly or monthly by clicking the dropdown arrow:

Set up notifications for fault codes on assets
- Add new notifications by clicking the create icon.
- Add a description, e.g. Alert: DTC detected
- Check the button next to Send a notification when faults are detected or Send a notification when faults are resolved. You can select both.
- Choose for which severity the notification must be sent by checking the box under:
- Critical severity faults
- High severity faults
- Medium severity faults
- Low severity faults
- Information message
- You can select more than one or all the options.
