Electric Vehicle support can be enabled for the Ford OEM integration for Ford Electric Vehicles.
Electric Vehicle data will be received from the Ford API. When a Ford EV is commissioned in On-Road IoT, and configured to include EV support, the Electric Vehicle functionality will be available in On-Road IoT.
- In On-Road IoT, click Manage.
- Under Config Admin, click Templates.
- Click the Mobile device templates tab on the left.
- Search for the relevant Ford OEM template in the text box at the top and press Enter.
- Click on the name of the template.
- Click on the heading to access the mobile device properties:
- Scroll down to the Features and settings section.
- Check the box next to Electric Vehicle.
- Click Save.
Note that if this is applied to a config group, all vehicles in that config group will show on the Electric Fleet Operations Dashboard.
These electric vehicle events will be shown in Historical Tracking, Trip Timeline, Info Hub, Event Reports, and Event Dashboards
