Some Powerfleet customers in Europe manage multiple sub-companies. In these cases all assets belong to a single organization but the sub-companies are created as separate sites within that organization.
For this reason users can assign a specific company card to work with assets under a site.
Furthermore, the data from each separate operating company under an organization (setup as a site) can be archived to a different TIS Web account.
Card Setup
As explained above, each site within an organization can have a different company card associated with it, including the top-level organization and sub-groups.
- In On-Road IoT, click Manage.
- Under DTCO Download Manager, click Company Cards.
Archive Service Setup
Once a card is associated with a site, the archive service provider account name can also be configured.
Note: the archive service provider account has to already exist and be accessible.
