On-Road IoT checks your username when you sign in and chooses the sign-in method that applies to your account. The username and password are now on separate pages.
The method depends on two things: whether you have a Powerfleet central account, and whether your organization has enabled federation (SSO) for your email domain.
Sign-in methods
- No central account, no federation: Existing users sign in with their current On-Road IoT credentials. New users set a password from the link in their welcome email, then sign in with their central account.
- Central account, no federation: Enter your central account password on the second page.
- Central account and federation: On-Road IoT redirects you to your organization's sign-in page. Enter your organization's credentials.
- No central account, federation enabled: On-Road IoT creates your central account automatically and redirects you to your organization's sign-in page. Your next sign-in follows the previous method.
If you are already signed in to another Powerfleet application, you go directly to On-Road IoT without entering a password.
