Associate a PL File with a configuration group for Cellocator mobile devices (CR100CAN, CR400CAN, and CANIQM).
On-Road IoT automatically sends an upload command to affected devices when the PL File selection changes, when an asset moves to a different configuration group, or when a device is commissioned into a group that already has a PL File selected.
The PL File dropdown is only available for Cellocator devices that support advanced commands, and only when your organization has this setting enabled. The setting cannot be selected in the system. Contact Powerfleet support to enable this setting.
- In On-Road IoT, click Manage.
- Under Config Admin, click Configuration Groups.
- In the Configurations group panel, search for and select a Cellocator group: CR100CAN, CR400CAN, or CANIQM.
- Click Add to create a new group, or select an existing group and click Edit at the end of the row.
You cannot edit a default configuration group.

In the PL File dropdown, select the PL File to associate with the group. The PL File dropdown only lists PL Files that matches the selected Mobile Device Template. For example, a PL File with a CR100 device cannot be selected when a CANIQM template is selected.

Click Save.

**When a PL File upload fails
Follow these steps when a PL File upload fails, for example due to an incompatible firmware version, etc.
- Select the configuration group in the left panel by checking the box next to the relevant config group.
- Select the assets in the right panel.
- Click the Actions dropdown.
- Click Retry PL file upload.
