Permission : You will need the "Organization settings - Custom branding" permission to access this.
Apply your organization's visual identity to the On-Road IoT platform. Custom branding lets administrators configure a logo, brand color, and custom web address at a tenant level, so that users see a consistent, branded experience when they log in and use the platform. Email notifications sent by the platform can also be branded independently.
- In On-Road IoT, click Manage.
- Under Operations, click Data center administration.
- Make sure you are on the Custom branding tab.
- Create a new custom brand by clicking the
icon.
- Enter a mandatory description.
- Enter a mandatory key or use the one automatically provided by the system - this is used to identify the subdomain (https://mykey.integration.com) as well as the CSS (https://integration.com/CustomCss/mykey.css).
- Enter an optional meta tag description.
- Enter an optional custom domain to be used instead of the default host (https://mycustomdomain.com)
- Select organizations that the custom branding will apply to by clicking, select organizations.
Configure platform branding
The maximum size of the uploaded images is 10MB.
Logos
Upload your company logo to replace the default logo displayed in the navigation bar and on the login page. The platform favicon is set dynamically from the uploaded logo.
- Next to the relevant logo, click Choose file (or the existing logo thumbnail to replace it).
- Select your logo file. Supported formats: PNG, JPG, JPEG and maximum file size, 10MB.
- Click Save.
Custom URL
Provide users with a branded web address for accessing On-Road IoT instead of the default Powerfleet URL.
- Under the Email branding section enter your custom Company website URL field in the format that you would like users to enter it to access the system, e.g. mycompanyname.ourwebsite.com
- Click Save.
Brand color
Set a color to apply across key UI elements such as the navigation bar and buttons for both light mode and dark mode.
- Enter your color value in the Brand color field using a hex code, for example
#0073E6for blue. - Enter button background colors for both light and dark mode in hex code.
- Enter the color of the font to be displayed on the buttons in the Button label color light and dark mode sections.
- Click Save.
Configure email branding
Apply your branding to system-generated email notifications, such as account activation emails and alerts sent to users.
- Under Email branding, set the Company name
- Enter a sender display name that must be displayed in the from fields in emails.
- Add a footer/disclaimer that will be included in all emails received from the system.
- Enter a contact email address and phone number to be included in all emails where relevant from the system.
- Click Choose file to upload an email banner in the JPG format, no larger than 200KB with a resolution of 1800 x 480px.
- Upload a company email logo by clicking Choose file in PNG format, no larger than 100KB with a resolution of 360x53px.
- Click Save.
Note the emails will not yet show in the format.
Control which navigation elements are visible
Administrators can choose which top-navigation elements appear for users in your organization. Use this setting to show or hide items such as the PowerHub icon, the Help Centre link, and the Privacy Statement.
- Check the Hide in the UI box to remove these icons from the organization's UI.
- Click Save.
The changes apply immediately for all users in the organization on their next page load.
