Please note that changes to retention settings only applies from the date of change. Retention settings for historical data will remain set to whatever was applied prior to the change.
- Click Manage.
- Under Operations, click Database administration.
- Expand the list to the relevant place in the organization tree structure by clicking the '+' icon next to the relevant RSO/Dealer/Multi-level organization name.
- Click the Data retention settings tab.
- Choose how long you want to keep your trip, position, events and scoring data from the dropdown list. The default is 5 years.
- You can also set the video data retention period by selecting from the list. Default is 8 months.
- Click Save.
Remember that this only affects new data created after the time of saving this setting.
NOTE: The "from" dates that can be selected on Historical tracking, the trip timeline and the reporting wizard will be impacted by this.
