Permission: You will need the "IoT data connector management" permission to access this feature.
- In On-Road IoT, click Monitor.
- Under Fleet Admin, click IoT data connector.
- On the NovaTrack block, click Enable if this is the first time you are using this connector.
Once you enable the connector, you can synchronize vehicle entities that exist within the NovaTrack account by providing your credentials.
After the initial sync, newly created or deleted assets will automatically sync once per day.
- Enter your Bearer Token and the Base URL you connect to.
- Click Save.
If successful, the information will be synced to Unity On-Road IoT to automatically create assets with matching details.
The NovaTrack device will be automatically commissioned into the NovaTrack default configuration group.
Note: all syncing is one-way and data only updates from NovaTrack to Unity, not vice-versa.
You will receive a confirmation email after saving your NovaTrack credentials and the syncing of assets is complete, notifying you that all synced data is now available in your organization on On-Road IoT. The number of synced assets will be displayed in the email. To update asset details in bulk, use the respective import template.
