Battery - Battery Detail Screen
This Help section covers the elements of the Battery Detail Screen.
Battery - Battery Search
- On the left side of the battery profile screen you will see a battery list and search bar that allows you to move to another battery record without going back to the Battery List. Click on any name to open that battery record.
- You can also use the search bar to find a battery. Note that at least 3 characters must be entered for the search filter to engage and find a battery.
Battery - Options: Go Back, Add, Duplicate, Edit

In the bottom right of the screen are buttons for working with the battery detail screen.

The “Go Back” link will take you back to the Battery List screen.
- The “Add” button allows you to add a new record.
- The “Duplicate” button allows you to add a new record by duplicating the current record that is open.
- The “Edit” button allows you to edit the current record.
Battery - Expand/Collapse Sections
- Sections within the battery detail screen can be expanded or collapsed using the arrows on the right side of the section header bars.
- Note: If an update has been made to any properties or settings included in a collapsed section, those changes will still take effect if the battery is saved.
Battery - Battery Data
Identifying Information
- The first section of the Battery detail screen contains general identifying information. To edit this information, click on the “Edit” button on the bottom right of the screen.
- The following information can be edited in this section:
- Battery Stencil – This is the battery name. Each battery’s name is a required field used to identify the battery on interface screens and reports.
- BMID Number – This is the programmed ID on the battery-mounted monitoring device (if applicable).
- Battery In Service – This is a checkbox, visible only in add or edit mode, for indicating the battery is in service.
Battery Status
- The second section of the Battery detail screen contains Battery Status data, including the following fields.
- Status – Indicates whether the battery is in service
- BSOC – Battery State of Charge indicates the level of charge the battery had at last communication
- Installed on – Indicates the last known vehicle the battery was installed on
- These fields are not editable.
- Additionally, this section contains two action buttons:
- Run Health Report – Produces the battery health report indicating the last known statistics on the battery
- Refresh Status – select this button to refresh the battery status data on screen
General Profile
- The third section of the Battery detail screen contains General Profile data. To edit this information, click on the “Edit” button on the bottom right of the screen.
- The following information can be edited in this section:
- Serial Number – This is a text field for entering the battery’s serial number
- Purchase Date – Use the calendar icon to select the date the battery was purchased
- Date in Service – Use the calendar icon to select the date the battery was put into service
Model
- The third section of the Battery detail screen contains data on the battery model, including the following fields:
- Battery Type – Liquid, gel, etc.
- Voltage Rating – Nominal voltage of the battery (12VDC, 24VDC, etc.)
- Number of Cells – The number of cells within the battery
- Charge Cycle
- These fields are not editable.
