MiX Fleet Manager
- A new Daily utilization report has been added to the Material Handling report suite to cater for customers making use of engine hours instead of distance.
- A new date range has been added to the period dropdown selection for most reports. Users can now choose an option called Year to Date (full months only) which will run from the first day of the year until the end of the previous month.
The reason for this new option is to eliminate the blank column that was displayed when users ran subscriptions on the first day of a month.
When subscriptions are set up to run on the 1st day of a month, e.g. 1 April the report will return a column for the current month that contains no data because the report subscription runs at 08:00 AM that same day and therefore has no data to include yet.
If you, therefore, want to see data for, say 1 January 2022 to 1 April 2022, you will get a blank column on 1 April 2022 as the data is not included in the subscription yet. Choosing the Year to Date (full months only) will then only provide information to the end of the previous month, in this example 31 March 2022.

Global Hours of Service
- To enhance the performance on the HOS Overview page, the unnecessary calculations of available hours for drivers that are inactive will be reduced. Only when events are recorded for these drivers will calculations resume. Where large volumes of drivers are listed users will note a great benefit in performance on the HOS Overview page.
- HOS notification messages (SMS and email alerts for violations) have been updated to alert recipients of "potential violations", which is more representative of operational realities.
MiX Vision AI
The MiX Vision AI standalone mobile device will now also comply with the CNIL requirements. When CNIL is enabled for an organization the following will be applied to trips and event data that comes from any assets that belong to that organization that has a MiX Vision AI standalone mobile device installed:
- any speed data that comes through from the device will not be saved.
- when an over speeding event is triggered, it will not be saved to the database.
Note this only applies to the MiX Vision AI standalone mobile device and does not apply when the MiX Vision AI device is connected as a peripheral to our onboard computers.
