Automatic Commissioning
- MiX 4000 devices running firmware version 4.10 and connected to CAN will support auto-commissioning. When the device is powered up for the first time, it will scan the CAN bus for the VIN number. If an asset was created on MiX Fleet Manager with the same VIN, the IMEI of the device will be assigned to that asset automatically. The configuration will then be compiled and uploaded automatically.
