You can download an Excel file containing the asset details, mobile device settings, mobile device template, event template, and location template configurations.
You can also download a text (txt) file containing the pending configuration or the loaded configuration details.
To download the asset configuration file, the config file or the pending config file follow these steps
- Click Manage.
- Under Config admin, click Configuration groups.
The section on the left shows all the existing configuration groups. A count next to the heading at the top indicates the number of configuration groups available in the organisation. The total adjusts accordingly if the list is filtered by searching. The Assets column next to each group shows how many assets are linked to the configuration group.
- Search for the configuration group containing the asset.
- Select the configuration group by checking the box next to the group. This will display the assets on the right.
- If you do not know the configuration group of the asset, select All groups by checking the box in the header column and search for the asset on the right using the filter bar at the top.
- Click the Actions button on the right-hand side above the asset list.
- Select Asset configuration file / Download config file / Download pending config file.
- An Excel file, called Asset_configuration_file_** or a text file for the config files, called ConfigFile_***.txt or PendingConfigFile_***.txt, will be downloaded to your computer.
When you open the Excel file that shows the asset configuration, you will see several tabs at the bottom.
