Navistar OEM connects supported Navistar vehicles to On-Road IoT through the Navistar OEM API, with no onboard computer (OBC) installed in the vehicle. Navistar OEM is supported in the US only.
What you need
- A Navistar vehicle supported by the OEM integration.
- A valid Navistar OEM account and credentials, as applicable.
- Permission to manage libraries.
What you can do
- Make the Navistar OEM mobile device available to your organization.
- Commission a Navistar asset to the default configuration group for Navistar OEM, which makes the VIN a required field.
- Have the asset automatically enrolled in the Navistar OEM data service once commissioned.
Navistar OEM enrollment can be processed automatically; the vehicle does not need to be turned on for enrollment to complete.
Set up a Navistar vehicle
