Ford (Motorq) connects supported Ford vehicles to On-Road IoT through the Motorq platform, with no onboard computer (OBC) installed in the vehicle.
Getting a Ford vehicle set up involves two steps: first making the vehicle available on Motorq, then configuring it in On-Road IoT with a Powerfleet asset tracker device.
What you need
- A Ford vehicle onboarded on the Motorq platform, with its VIN registered.
- An LV300 asset tracker device assigned to the asset.
- The Ford (Motorq) mobile device made available in the Mobile device library.
What you can do
- Track the vehicle position and trips in live tracking and trip history.
- Receive diagnostic, fuel, state of charge, and other supported events. See Default events supported on Ford (Motorq).
