AI changes
Speed traffic sign recognition
- Speed limit sign recognition is now available in the global release, with a dedicated variant for North America to account for regional sign style differences.
- When a speed limit sign is detected while the vehicle is in motion, the driver is now alerted via the R-Watch or via voice prompt.
- A configurable overspeed threshold can now trigger an additional reminder if the vehicle exceeds the detected speed limit by a set amount.

Enhancement to allow DMS and DSC fusion detection
- The ADPlus2.0 now supports alarm fusion, running the DSC and C29N DMS cameras simultaneously.
- Fusion detection is now available for Eyes Closed (Fatigue), Mobile Phone Usage, Driver Distraction, Seatbelt Monitoring, and No Driver detection.
- The detection source (DMS, DSC, or a combination) can now be selected per alarm type.

Fatigue detection
- Fatigue detection now more accurately detects closed-eye scenarios when the driver is wearing glasses.
- A new glasses-reflection detection toggle has been added for configuring whether the system analyses eye-closure fatigue when reflections are present.
Eyeglass reflection failure alarm

A new Glasses Reflection failure alarm now notifies the driver and/or the platform when the AI can't track eye movement due to high-intensity lens reflection.
- The function can prompt the driver to reposition their glasses or lower the sun visor to restore detection.
- The algorithm scores glasses, sunglasses, and reflective scenarios and uses this score to compensate the Fatigue Detection AI.
Enhancement to detect the number of people in the vehicle

An Overcrowding Detection Alarm has now been added to the DSC algorithm, triggering when the number of people detected in the cab exceeds a configurable limit.
- The algorithm is only active above a configurable speed threshold and supports detection of up to 6 people.
- To check for driver-only occupancy, set the Cab Occupancy Limit to 1.
- In-cab notifications and R-Watch support are now available for this alarm.

ADAS function optimization

Collision Warning AI has now been improved.
- The algorithm now uses a Time-To-Collision (TTC) threshold of 2.7 seconds, updated 50 times per second (every 20 ms).
- An alert is now triggered when consecutive samples show TTC below the threshold, giving the driver time to take defensive action.

Modification of C29N and DSC automatic calibration logic
- Auto-recalibration for the C29N and DSC is now triggered by event-based logic rather than a fixed 30-minute timer.
- After initial calibration, recalibration now triggers if three distraction alarms occur within five minutes, or if the calibration validity period expires while the vehicle is in motion.
- A new OSD indicator (UNC) is now displayed on-screen while the DSC/DMS channel is recalibrating.

Hardware changes
GSM network registration timeout
- A Network Timeout parameter has now been added to the Communication Module settings.
- The timeout can now be extended from the default 60 seconds up to 600 seconds, preventing the device from restarting the GSM module during SIM reregistration.
Video frame header algorithm data writing configuration

A new Algorithm Information Writing configuration option has now been added, with three modes:
- Standard (default): all algorithm data is written to storage, enabling full post-event analysis and video viewing on the platform.
- Simple: only data necessary for algorithm analysis is stored. On-platform video viewing isn't supported.
- None: no algorithm data is written. Post-event analysis and platform video viewing aren't possible. Not recommended.

Added the ability to invert IPC camera

Camera installation angle settings for the IPC DMS channel are now configurable.
- Two rotation control modes are now available: Automatic (real-time calibration via Gsensor, default) and Manual (fixed angle set after disabling automatic mode).
- Manual mode addresses abnormal rotation in bumpy road conditions or when the built-in Gsensor fails.
Driver Latin American Portuguese voice file update
- Audio files for the Latin American Portuguese voice profile have now been updated. Certain reminders have been re-recorded and optimized to eliminate ambiguity and improve clarity for drivers.
Driver R-Watch volume level setting
- The R-Watch now includes a configurable volume setting for alarm reminders.
- Volume can now be set across 8 levels. The default is level 8.
- Future R-Watch hardware shipments will include a physical volume adjustment feature.

Periodic GPS update in sleep mode
- GPS data can now be uploaded while the device is in hibernation (sleep) mode. Two options are now available on the Report Policy page for the dormant state:
- Upload fixed GPS: GPS powers off during sleep and the last known location is reported.
- Real-time GPS: GPS stays powered during sleep, and a position update is uploaded if the device detects movement above 10 km/h.

Function optimization - driver behavior
- Default sensitivity thresholds for driver behavior events in combined navigation mode have now been updated:
- Rapid deceleration: threshold updated from -2.7 m/s² to -4.0 m/s².
- Rapid acceleration: threshold updated from 2.2 m/s² to 2.8 m/s².
- Sharp turn: threshold updated from 3.0 m/s² to 4.0 m/s².

Support startup voice and voice replacement functions
- Configurable startup voice playback is now supported, along with the ability to replace default voice files with custom audio.
Modify the low voltage protection threshold
- The low voltage protection threshold is now configurable, allowing adjustment to suit different vehicle types and battery specifications.
Video loss alarm detection time is open for setting
- A new detection duration setting has now been added to the video loss alarm, allowing the detection threshold to be adjusted dynamically to reduce false alarms. This addresses false video loss alarms caused by timing issues when exiting privacy mode.

Tamper alarm - equipment damage alarm
- A Device Tampering alarm has now been added, triggering when the device tilt angle exceeds 24°. This detects scenarios where the device has been forcibly dismantled or repositioned.
Excessive idle
- An idle alarm has now been added, triggering when ACC is on and vehicle speed remains at 0 for a configurable period. The alarm is reported to the platform and supports in-cab notification.
IPC MAC address
- The Maintenance Platform now automatically identifies connected IPC camera models and displays their MAC address. Each time an MDVR device detects a connected IPC camera, the MAC address is obtained and uploaded to the platform, supporting traceability and quality issue identification.
