Notification rules define which events trigger a push notification and which assets or drivers are monitored. Rules can be created and managed directly in the Powerfleet Manager app or in the web app under Push notifications.
Creating a notification rule
- Tap Notifications in the main menu, then tap Notification setup.
- Tap the option to create a new rule.
- Enter a name for the rule.
- Select the event(s) you want to be notified about.
- Select the assets, drivers, or a combination of both to monitor.
- Tap Save.
The new rule syncs to the service and will begin sending push notifications immediately.
Editing or deleting a rule
- Tap Notifications in the main menu, then tap Notification setup.
- Tap an existing rule to edit its name, events, or asset/driver selection.
- To delete a rule, open it and tap Delete.
