The WEX EFS SecureFuel service integrates with On-Road IoT fleet data to verify a truck's location before securely authorizing fuel purchase completion. To enable this integration, you need to obtain API credentials through the Unity Integrate platform and provide them to WEX EFS.
Get your Unity Integrate credentials
Step 1 — Contact your RSO
Contact your regional sales office (RSO) to express your interest in using the Unity Integrate API platform to pull tracking data from your organization.
Step 2 — Supply your registration details
Provide the following information to your RSO so they can register your tracking solution:
- Software application name - Name of the tracking solution
- Application purpose - A brief description of the customer’s application being built
- Developer email address - The developer who will receive the Client ID and Client Secret
- Email correspondence language - Language of the email with Client ID and Client Secret information
- Data center(s) - On which environment is the organization? UK, ZA, US or AU etc.
Step 3 — Receive your Client ID and Client Secret
Once your RSO has registered the application, the nominated developer will receive a Client ID and Client Secret by email. These credentials are used as part of the OAuth 2.0 authentication process to access your fleet data via the Integrate API.
Step 4 — Provide credentials to WEX EFS
Share the Client ID and Client Secret with your WEX EFS support contact to complete the integration setup.
Contact the WEX EFS Help Center to coordinate fleet data sharing consent and provide your Unity Integrate Client ID and Client Secret so WEX EFS can retrieve your asset data for use with the SecureFuel service.
