What's new in Release 26.1 (January 2026) – Powerfleet Knowledge

On-Road IoT

Server-side processing of additional CAN data is now supported on the CR100 Cellocator device. This enables monitoring of low fuel level or state of charge, EV charger status, high engine coolant temperature, seatbelt status, and door status (up to four doors).
A new feature will automatically adjust time zone changes, providing more accurate and reliable behaviour for assets that move across time zones.
The MyMiX Driver Authentication page has been renamed to Driver Authentication. Page descriptions have been improved to include all Powerfleet Easy apps. App icons now link directly to the relevant mobile app stores, making it easier to find and download the correct Powerfleet apps.
Road speed limit data has been restored to the Map Query Point tool for HERE maps following recent mapping optimisations.

Various improvements have been made to the usability of the Beta Config Groups page, including improved alert column sorting and updated columns in the groups pane.

VisionAI

When an event has multiple video channels configured, the reports page now generates a single combined tiled video containing video from all those channels. Up to four channels are supported.

VisionAI 360

Fleet numbers (VehicleSelfNo) are now correctly updated in VisionAI 360 during the hourly batch asset sync.
Real-time sync will no longer process updates for organisations that are disabled. Updates for these organisations are safely ignored and logged.

EasyELD - mobile app

ELD administrators can now enforce a 20mph speed limit during Yard Moves for U.S. drivers if required.

Please note that you have to upgrade both EasyELD and EasyCheck mobile apps together—updating one without the other may cause compatibility issues. This only applies to version 25.22 of the app and newer versions and if you are using both apps.

EasyCheck - vehicle inspections mobile app

EasyCheck checklists are now fully integrated into the EasyELD app, so drivers no longer need to switch between two apps to complete a DVIR.
A new setting allows drivers to view all assets from all sites within the organisation. This setting is configured on the Maintenance settings page and defaults to showing only assets from the driver’s own site.
Asset selection in the EasyCheck mobile app now follows this setting, showing either all organisational assets or only site-specific assets, depending on the configuration as set up in the Maintenance settings.
