If an event or asset location appears inside of two or more landmark boundaries defined by a customer, the following criteria are used in order by the VeriWise system to determine the most appropriate landmark label for the event:

1. The landmark with the nearest latitude/longitude centerpoint to the event's lat/long coordinates
2. Rectangular landmark
3. Circular landmark
4. Polygonal landmark
5. First landmark created
