Some assets with access to power line connections will be displayed as Hooked if external power is present, or a Tractor ID value is being supplied to the tracking device for the asset.
VeriWise Track & Trace (GSM-D100), Chassis (GSM-D150), Dry Van (GSM-D300), and Intermodal Container (GSM-D400) devices do not currently support derived Hooked state reporting, and will display Hooked state as "n/a" for all events.
Note: Tractor ID modules are optional PLC communication accessories available for duplex satellite (SATD200) and Fleetview 3 (FV3) device types only. Depending on hardware configuration, other device types are capable of reporting Hooked status using external power state only.
