A new State Miles report based on vehicle odometer readings has been implemented.
You can subscribe to this report in the State Miles and IFTA reporting setup workflow. It's available by subscription only.
State Miles only or State Miles and IFTA Tax reporting can be enabled, and recipients added or deleted.
The State Miles report email subscription is sent by the 6th of each month (to allow late trip data processing). The XLS report is available via a link in the email. See below for a shortened example:
The report contains the miles each vehicle in the organization drove by jurisdiction during the report period.
- Assets with unusual mileage are displayed on a separate tab in the spreadsheet. Note that these are not reporting issues, but typically occur when there is a problem with how the device is configured in the asset.
When a vehicle crosses a jurisdiction boundary, a SLC (State Line Crossing) event is triggered. Jurisdiction miles driven is calculated from vehicle odometer readings between entry and exit SLC events.
