Comparing MyMiX and Insight reports
Some Insight reports in On-Road IoT use the same logic as MyMiX, which means their data can be compared directly. Others use different logic and comparing them will produce mismatched results.
Reports you can compare with MyMiX
The following reports are based on movement start and can be compared with MyMiX:
- Daily Movement report
- Daily RAG report
A trip is assigned to the day on which movement began, that is, when speed exceeded 5 km/h (or 5 mph). This matches the logic MyMiX uses.
Example: A driver switches on the ignition and idles on 15 May, but doesn't start moving until just after midnight on 16 May. The trip is assigned to 16 May in both the report and in MyMiX.
Reports you should not compare with MyMiX
The following report is based on trip start and cannot be compared with MyMiX, the Daily Movement report, or the Daily RAG report:
- Daily Trip Distance report
A trip is assigned to the day on which it started, that is, when the ignition was switched on, even if the vehicle hadn't moved yet.
Example: A driver switches on the ignition and starts moving on 15 May. The trip is assigned to 15 May. However, if ignition-on and movement start fall on different days, this report and MyMiX will show the distance on different days.
