When you select your report, you will be navigated through a serious of steps customized for each specific report.
The criteria selected in these steps allow you to refine the report to suit your needs. These steps consist of three to four tabs where you can select:
-
Assets & Drivers - Here you will choose if you want to view the information by asset or by driver. You can then specify if you want to view data for all the assets/drivers in the organization or choose specific ones. After you have made your selection, click on Next to move to the following tab.
The Next button will only be enabled when you have completed all the mandatory fields (with red asterisk) on the current page.
- Standard selection - Select the columns you want to include in your report, the reporting period, e.g. from and to dates, or predefined date periods.
Preset date ranges will be limited based on the organization's configured data retention period.
Depending on the type of report you can also choose the events or locations you want included. Most of the reports provide a default selection of columns and numerous additional optional columns which can be selected. This allows you to design the report to include only data important to your operations.
- Additional settings - If a report has additional filter options or data to include or exclude, like location types, filter distances, ranges for scoring, time limits, etc. you can select them on this screen. Read the article on each report to learn about the unique settings.
- Run Report - Here you can choose to view the report immediately or download to a certain format, e.g. PDF. You can set up email report subscriptions or save reports as favorites.
Go back to a previous tab by clicking the Back button and then proceed without having to change all the selections previously made.
Important Note:
Newly added or updated locations will show in Historical tracking but not in past reports, as the data for historical dates has already been processed in the data warehouse. They will only appear from the time they were added or updated onward.
