Permission : You will need the "Assets - AEMP providers" update permission and the Config Admin Remove mobile device (decommission) permission to sync providers and remove assets.
To ensure that the most up-to-date assets for a provider are displayed in On-Road IoT you can synchronize the asset details with the details from the provider.
Remember that you also need to [[#[BROKEN LINK] make the AEMP mobile device available]] to see this feature. This is only available on organization-level and the feature is hidden on site-level.
Once the equipment provider has decommissioned the asset on their side and the information has been sent through to On-Road IoT, you will see the assets on the right-hand side that need to be decommissioned so that you are no longer billed for them.
- Click Monitor.
- Under Fleet admin, click Assets.
- Click the AEMP onboarding, cog wheel icon.
- You will now see a list of all AEMP providers.
- Click the downward action arrow at the end of the relevant row and select Sync.
- On the left, you will see a list of all the assets from the provider that are not commissioned on On-Road IoT.
- On the right you will see assets that have been commissioned in On-Road IoT. 1. Select the assets you want to remove from On-Road IoT by checking the box next to the relevant equipment name. 2. Click Decommission.
- Click Confirm to remove these assets.
These assets will now have been placed in a decommissioned site and are no longer available as active assets:
- Click Close to return to the main window.
Note: If you get the message “No assets available for provider” it could be that an invalid accountid has been provided, or that no equipment is available for the provider.
