This function can be used to associate a different driver with a specific trip.
- In On-Road IoT, click Monitor.
- Under Activity Timeline, click Trip timeline.
- Choose to view the timeline by asset by clicking the vehicle icon next to the site selector.
- Choose the relevant asset containing the trip.
- Choose the date on which the trip occurred.
- Click on the specific trip to select it.
- Click on the trip information icon located in the top right menu toolbar. See the depiction below:
- Click on change driver.
- Click in the box where the current driver is displayed, and select the new driver from the dropdown list.
- Click submit.
Please note the following:
- This functionality is disabled for organizations that are enabled for Hours of Service.
- Changing the driver associated with a trip only updates the driver on the trip timeline, detailed trip information, and in the asset database.
- Events that occurred during the trip will also be reassigned to the new driver and will be displayed as such in all the driver-centric Insight Reports.
