Please check with your corresponding RSO first before upgrading to a new version of firmware.
The purpose of this release it primarily to support the next generation MiX 4000 hardware with Quectel modems, Nordic Bluetooth modules and no CAN configuration jumpers.
This firmware is also backward compatible with all legacy hardware versions of the MiX 4000.
This release will also fix the CAN issues created by the 4.10.10 release where the ability of the device to send an Acknowledge message on CAN was restricted. In the 4.12.6 release CAN will operate as it initially did on all legacy hardware. CAN will only work differently on the most recent hardware (Quectel/Nordic/No CAN jumper).
For more information on these changes to Changes to CAN termination and CAN transmit configuration, read the announcement here.
