The International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) is required for all US vehicles over 26,000 pounds that cross state lines. It is a cooperative program that collects and distributes fuel tax revenue between member states and Canadian provinces.

- Scroll down and click on the General features tab on the left.
- Check the box next to IFTA Reporting.
Checking this box enables the recording of State Line Crossing events for all assets in the organization. These events are monitored and recorded server-side and are used for IFTA tax reporting purposes.
- Choose between the state miles report only or, IFTA and state miles report by selecting the relevant button.
When you select the full IFTA reporting option with the state miles report, you must set up fuel card integration for the fuel reports.

- Choose the recipients to receive the monthly CSV report. This will be a link in an email that is sent monthly for the state miles report and once a quarter for the full IFTA report. The email is sent on the 6th of the month to allow for late data processing. Click the Select recipients button to select multiple existing recipients.
- If you cannot find a recipient in the list, click the Click here to add link to create a new recipient.
- Remove recipients by clicking the X next to the recipient name.
- Click Save.
Note: when an organization is enabled for IFTA reporting, the data retention settings for the organization will be fixed to 5 years.
