User management in On-Road IoT controls a user's access to On-Road IoT only. It does not change the user's Powerfleet central account, because the account may also be used to access other systems.
Effect of user management actions
Disable a user account - The user cannot sign in to On-Road IoT. The central account stays active.
Remove a user account - The On-Road IoT user is removed and the central account stays untouched. The user can still sign in but is not authorized and sees an unexpected error message.
Activate a user account - The user can sign in to On-Road IoT again.
Locked account - Central accounts do not lock the way On-Road IoT accounts do. After repeated incorrect passwords, the account is temporarily locked for a period that grows if the attempts continue. The user sees the normal "Invalid username or password" message, so the lock status is not revealed.
User management for users who sign in with their existing On-Road IoT credentials works as before.
