You can select the agricultural exemption from the special driving conditions on the HOS home page.
Add Agricultural Exemption
- Scroll down on the HOS home page.
- Tap the arrow next to Special driving conditions.
- Select Agricultural Exemption.
- Choose a source location. Tap USE CURRENT LOCATION, or tap ADD LOCATION to enter a custom one.
If your location can't be detected automatically, you must enter it manually. Tap the downward arrow next to the field to select your state or city/town, then enter the distance and direction. Tap SAVE.
You'll see the new special driving condition indicated in the duty status bar at the top.
You can't select another duty status while you're making use of the agricultural exemption. End the exemption first.
End agricultural exemption
- Tap the arrow next to the agricultural exemption in the top duty status bar, or scroll down to the special driving condition section on the HOS home screen.
- Select None / End.
- Enter an annotation.
- Tap YES to confirm.
The app will prompt you to end the exemption when you change duty status or exit the vehicle. If another driver becomes the active driver, the agricultural exemption ends automatically.
