Privacy mode lets a driver stop the VisionAI 360 camera from recording, for situations where recording is not appropriate, such as personal use of the vehicle.
- Privacy mode is activated on the device itself, not through the Unity portal.
- Once activated, its status is visible in VisionAI 360, so you can confirm whether a device is currently in privacy mode.
Please note that privacy mode is not currently implemented in On-Road IoT. It is only visible and supported through VisionAI 360.
View privacy status
- In the Unity portal, click VisionAI 360
- Click Insights.
- Under the Real-Time OPS menu on the right, click Live Tracking.
- Click on the Privacy filter.
- Click on the device card in the list to view more details.
- Click the Device tab at the top.
- Click View More >>.
- Next to each of the channels you will see a red camera icon if the device is not recording footage.
