The map view displays the live location of all assets in your selected site(s). Assets are clustered when zoomed out and can be searched, filtered, and inspected directly from the map.
- Open the Powerfleet Manager app and tap the Fleet tab.
- If you are on the List view, tap the Map button.
- View all assets on the map at their current live location.
- Tap the Search icon to find a specific asset by name.
- Tap the Filter icon to narrow assets down to a specific group.
- Tap a clustered group on the map to zoom in and expand individual assets.
- Tap an asset detail card on the map to open asset details and a trip summary. This card is displayed whenever you click on any asset on the map. To clear this card, click anywhere on the map.
- Tap the Re-center button to fit all selected assets back into view.
Changing the map type
- Tap the Map tool icon.
- Select one of the available map types: Standard, Satellite, or Hybrid.
- To show live traffic, select Traffic (Google Maps only).
Movement status indicators
Asset pins on the map use color to indicate movement status:
- Green — currently moving
- Grey — stationary
- Amber — unknown (latest position not received)
