Advanced commands allow fleet managers to remotely execute device-level operations on Cellocator CR100 and CANiQ-M devices from the Live tracking page. These commands are separate from standard commands to mobile devices and are only available for assets commissioned with a supported device.
The following advanced commands are supported:
- Reboot – Remotely reboot the device.
- Connect to C+ – Force the device to connect to the Cellocator Plus configuration server.
- Connect to C+ (CAN Mode) – Force the device to connect to the Cellocator Plus configuration server and download a new CAN script file.
- Auto-baud rate Reset – Reset the automatic baud rate on the device.
Send an advanced command
- Click Monitor.
- Under Tracking, click Live tracking.
- Make sure the Assets tab is selected.
- Click the three-dot menu at the end of the relevant asset row.
- Click Advanced commands to mobile device.
• Select the required command from the list.
• Click Send.
Requirements
• A Cellocator CR100 or CANiQ-M device provisioned and commissioned on your Unity On-Road IoT organisation.
• The device must be reporting positions and online in Live Tracking before sending advanced commands.
• Appropriate user permissions to send advanced commands in Unity MX.
