You can send a message to an asset directly from the Live tracking page. This feature requires an in-cab device and availability depends on the type of mobile device installed in the asset.
- In On-Road IoT, click Monitor.
- Under Tracking, click Live tracking.
- Select the Assets tab.
- Search for an asset by typing in the filter bar at the top of the list.
- Check the box next to the asset you want to view on the map.
- Click the three dots menu at the end of the row.
- Click Send text message.
- Enter a message - maximum 160 characters.
- Click Send.
