If you want to start active tracking you need to view the assets in a new window.
- In On-Road IoT, click Monitor.
- Under Tracking, click Live tracking.
- Select the Assets tab.
- Check the box next to the relevant asset.
- Click the three dots menu at the end of the row.
- Click View in new window.
A new window will open and display the asset on a map. You can start active tracking or satellite tracking, which means that the vehicle location positions (AVL) will be sent continuously as per the duration and frequency that was set up your organization settings.
*The satellite tracking option will only be available if you have an additional satellite device installed with your unit.
